The Colors of Love!

Often times we can only see the world from one point of view. One perspective. We can only imagine how things are through our own eyes. But sometimes, someone comes along with the ability to not just change our point of view but also change our world. Sometimes all it takes is a look or a touch and suddenly everything seems different. It can be a whole new world full of new perspectives.

This project is especially meaningful and important to me for a number of reasons. First and foremost are the two beautiful ladies gracious enough to be my subjects for this project. My beautiful wife Maria and the gorgeous and amazingly talented Say Jay Hynes.

This project was actually Say Jay’s brilliant idea. Her initial concept was more ambitious; wanting to do everything, including the color effects practically and maybe we’ll get to that version the next time we have a chance to play.

Say Jay came to me with the idea of two people who would share some special moments and impart a little bit of themselves in each other. A true and honest expression of love using Black and White and Color Photo concepts, kind of like the film ‘Pleasantville’. After some brainstorming we came up with the visual story below! We hope you enjoy!
